Use whenever someone wants to stand up or run a customer journey agent, orchestrate GTM signals across tools, catch renewal or churn risk early, surface in-market or expansion accounts, or turn scattered per-tool alerts into one coordinated post. Trigger on phrases like \"run the journey agent\", \"check this account for risk\", \"is this account at risk\", \"surface in-market accounts\", \"fuse the signals for this account\", \"post an account alert to Slack\", or \"build the customer journey agent\", and when someone describes wanting one coordinating agent across Salesforce, G2, Gong, ZoomInfo, and Slack instead of separate tool alerts. This is the runnable companion to the Full-Cycle Customer Journey Agent Blueprint on ai.g2.com.\n---\n\n# Customer Journey Agent\n\n## Purpose\n\nUnite the signals a GTM team already generates across Salesforce, G2, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator into one coordinating agent. For a given account, the agent resolves identity across every system, reads the active journey stage, pulls the signals that stage cares about, scores them together, and posts a single fused alert into the account's Slack channel that names the owners and the next step.\n\nThe public writeup of this workflow lives here: https://ai.g2.com/playbook/zHpbKR31XKBfLIG. This skill is the runnable version of that Blueprint.\n\n## Core principle\n\nThe whole value is one account view. Six systems carry six identifiers, and nothing works until they agree on the same account. So identity resolution comes first, every time, before a single signal is read. Correlating a signal to the wrong account is worse than having no signal.\n\nThe second principle is fusion. Every source will happily emit its own alert. If each one posts on its own, the account channel fills with noise and people mute it, which is the internal version of a customer marking your email as spam. Collect every signal for an account, score them together, and post once, only when severity crosses the line.\n\n## What must be connected\n\nThe agent runs on whatever is connected and degrades gracefully when a source is dark. It does not fail because one feed is missing, it notes the missing lens in the alert.\n\n- Salesforce MCP, the system of record: stage, owner, renewal date, contract value, contacts\n- G2 MCP, the market signal: buyer intent, competitive intelligence, reviews, Grid position\n- Gong MCP, the inside view: what was said on calls, deal risk, sentiment, competitor mentions\n- ZoomInfo MCP, who and what changed: buying committee, org chart, funding and leadership scoops\n- LinkedIn Sales Navigator, the relationship graph: who on the team already knows someone at the account (often reaches the agent through a CRM sync rather than a native MCP, so treat it as available where connected)\n- Slack MCP, orchestration: posts the fused alert into the account channel\n\n## Workflow\n\nRun these steps in order.\n\n### Step 1: Resolve identity (always first)\n\nMap the account across every connected system before reading any signal. Use the Salesforce Account ID as the spine, the account domain as the join for G2 and ZoomInfo, the account and opportunity for Gong, company and people for Sales Navigator, and derive the Slack channel name from the account by convention (for example a per-account channel).\n\nIf the crosswalk is missing or dirty, stop and flag it rather than guessing. Read `references/mcp-reference.md` for the exact calls and keys per source.\n\n### Step 2: Route by stage\n\nRead the Salesforce stage. It decides which of the nine plays is active. Pre-sale stages run the acquisition plays (Prospecting through Negotiation and Close). Closed-won runs the lifecycle plays (Onboarding through Renewal). Read `references/stage-plays.md` for the play matched to each stage and the signals it pulls.\n\n### Step 3: Pull and fuse the signals\n\nPull only the signals the active play needs from each connected source. Score them together into a single severity read. Do not emit one alert per source. Read `references/signal-fusion.md` for the scoring model, the health inputs, and the severity thresholds.\n\n### Step 4: Post once, to the right channel, tagging the right people\n\nPost only when severity crosses the threshold. Route to the account's Slack channel, or to the pod or new-logo channel if the account has no channel yet. Tag only the owners who can act, not the whole team. Use the exact structure in `references/alert-templates.md`.\n\n### Step 5: Run the guardrails before sending\n\n- Verify each warm contact is still at the company before surfacing them. A stale contact burns credibility fast. This is a real failure mode: an early run surfaced a champion who had left the company two years earlier.\n- Post the internal alert, but draft rather than auto-send anything outbound to a customer. The agent surfaces and drafts, the human owns the relationship and the reframe of any surfaced review or call language.\n- Batch routine signals into a daily roll-up. Reserve real-time posting for high severity only.\n- In a live session, confirm before sending the first alert into a channel, and prefer a draft or a scheduled digest over silent auto-posting until the team trusts the thresholds.\n\n## Severity at a glance\n\n- Green, informational: log silently, no post. A single soft signal with no corroboration.\n- Yellow, watch: a soft signal worth a quiet note, no @-mention.\n- Red, act now: signals stack across sources, or a hard signal lands close to renewal. Post with an @-mention and, for high-value accounts, trigger the save motion.\n\nFull model and examples in `references/signal-fusion.md`.\n\n## What good looks like\n\nOne post. The right two or three people tagged. Motion inside an hour. If a channel starts getting muted, the threshold is too low, so tighten it. If people act on the first read without asking follow-up questions, the fusion is doing its job.\n\n## Before you deploy\n\nAn agent that posts wrong data into account channels erodes trust quickly. Before this runs against real accounts, validate its data accuracy with the `gtm-agent-testing` skill, and use the `agent-productivity-evaluator` skill to decide whether it is worth scaling. Salesforce opportunity data through the MCP can be unreliable, so pay particular attention to renewal and stage accuracy during testing.\n","url":"https://ai.g2.com/blueprints-api/playbooks/zHpbKR31XKBfLIG/install?revision=1&t=0.V_2lJWVj3VQwj-_3dR9WCSeesZGJ1uLmo0WlozGCOgw&file=SKILL.md"},{"name":"references/alert-templates.md","role":"template","bytes":4035,"sha256":"41ae31bfce7e99eef90682463b30f03b5dfa63eacd9a6ab81d1c88826f055585","encoding":"utf8","content":"# Alert Templates\n\nUse these structures for the fused Slack post. Tool function names below match the current MCP servers. If a server exposes different names, map to the nearest equivalent and keep the role the same.\n\n## Identity resolution (the crosswalk)\n\nNothing correlates until every system agrees on the same account. Build the crosswalk first, in this order.\n\n1. Start from Salesforce. The Account ID is the internal primary key. Pull the account, its domain or website, the owner, the renewal date, the open opportunity and its stage, and the contract value.\n2. Key G2 and ZoomInfo on the domain. Both resolve accounts by company domain, so a clean domain on the Salesforce record is what makes the join work.\n3. Key Gong on the account or opportunity, tied back to the Salesforce record.\n4. Key Sales Navigator on company and people, then match its people to the Salesforce contacts and the ZoomInfo buying committee.\n5. Derive the Slack channel from the account name by a fixed convention (for example a per-account channel). The name has to be derivable, or routing breaks.\n\nIf the domain is missing, the opportunity is unlinked, or the channel cannot be derived, stop and flag the gap. A confident post against the wrong account is the worst outcome the agent can produce.\n\n## Salesforce (system of record)\n\n- Reads: use `soqlQuery` for the account, open opportunity, stage, renewal date, owner, and contract value. Use `getRelatedRecords` to pull the current contacts on the account.\n- Write: a single `createSobjectRecord` to log a task or the risk on the account. Nothing else writes.\n- Caution: opportunity data through the MCP can be unreliable. Do not trust stage alone for renewal timing. Cross-check the renewal date, and prefer skipping opportunities already in late stage rather than re-alerting on a deal that is already closing.\n\n## G2 (market signal, live pre-sale and post-sale)\n\n- `browse_buyer_intent` and `browse_product_buyer_intent`: in-market intent on the category and on the product. Read intent depth, meaning which pages were viewed (comparison, pricing, alternatives), not just presence.\n- `browse_competitive_intelligence`: which competitors the account is comparing. This is the churn tell post-sale and the displacement angle pre-sale.\n- `list_standard_product_reviews` and the market-intelligence reviews: the pains buyers in this category cite and the incumbent's weak spots.\n- `list_categories` and `show_category`: adjacency for expansion, and category context for positioning.\n- `show_product` and `show_vendor`: Grid position and rating, used as proof.\n- `show_buyer_intent_dashboard`: the account-level intent view.\n\n## Gong (the inside view)\n\n- `generate_brief`: a full briefing for a scheduled call or an account. Use it for the pre-call brief pattern and to summarize account state.\n- `ask_account`: natural-language questions across an account's calls. Use it for the risk-language listener and the silence detector (when was the last substantive conversation).\n- `ask_deal`: natural-language questions about a specific deal. Use it for deal risk, sentiment, commitments, and competitor mentions on a live opportunity.\n\n## ZoomInfo (who and what changed)\n\n- `enrich_companies`: firmographics and current company data.\n- `search_scoops` and `enrich_company_signals`: company events that never show up in usage data, such as funding, leadership changes, layoffs, and M&A. A departed economic buyer is a churn signal.\n- `get_recommended_contacts` and `search_contacts`: the buying committee and the right people to engage.\n\n## LinkedIn Sales Navigator (relationship graph)\n\n- Pull first-degree connections and TeamLink paths that reach people at the account, then match them to the buying committee and to the Salesforce contacts.\n- This layer often arrives through a CRM sync rather than a native MCP. Treat the warm path as available where connected, and never let its absence block the rest of the alert.\n- Always run the current-employment check before surfacing a connection. Confirm the person is still at the account, and link the profile in the alert.\n\n## Slack (orchestration)\n\n- `slack_send_message`: post the fused alert into the account channel.\n- `slack_send_message_draft`: prepare the alert for review instead of posting, used until the team trusts the thresholds or when the first alert into a channel needs confirmation.\n- `slack_create_canvas`: keep a persistent account brief that updates over time.\n- `slack_schedule_message`: send the daily roll-up of routine signals on a rhythm rather than firing per event.\n","url":"https://ai.g2.com/blueprints-api/playbooks/zHpbKR31XKBfLIG/install?revision=1&t=0.V_2lJWVj3VQwj-_3dR9WCSeesZGJ1uLmo0WlozGCOgw&file=references%2Fmcp-reference.md"},{"name":"references/signal-fusion.md","role":"reference","bytes":4129,"sha256":"c91709cae20c67b2faba8c072e6d3a949965beeded5b2fb54f6aba0953aa2eba","encoding":"utf8","content":"# Signal Fusion and Severity\n\nThis is the layer that keeps the account channel from becoming noise. Collect every signal for an account, score them together, and decide whether to post. All thresholds below are illustrative starting points. Calibrate them to the adopter's own data before the alerts are trusted.\n\n## The fusion rule\n\nNever post one alert per source. For the active play, gather the relevant signals from each connected source, weigh them together, and produce a single severity read for the account. One coordinated message beats several separate bot pings, and it is the difference between a channel people act on and a channel people mute.\n\n## Signal weights\n\nWeigh signals by how strong and how corroborated they are. A rough rubric:\n\n- Soft, single-source, no corroboration: low weight. Example: value-page visits dropped this week.\n- Hard, single-source: medium weight. Example: first-time competitor intent on G2, or a departed economic buyer from a ZoomInfo scoop.\n- Corroborated across two or more sources: high weight. Example: competitor intent on G2 and \"reviewing options\" on the last Gong call.\n- Corroborated and close to a deadline: highest weight. Example: any of the above inside the renewal window.\n\nThe point is not a precise number. It is that a signal confirmed by a second source, or landing near a renewal, escalates, and an isolated soft signal does not.\n\n## Health inputs (for Adoption and Renewal)\n\nFor live customers, compute a health read from the inputs below. These generalize a product-usage health score to any GTM stack. Track each as met or not met, then roll up.\n\n- Review recency: is the account generating reviews on cadence, or has it gone flat.\n- Buyer-intent signal strength: is intent activity present and healthy, or dark.\n- Value-page or performance-page visits: is anyone from the account actually logged in and looking at value, or is it zero.\n- Conversations logged: when was the last substantive conversation (pull this from Gong for every customer conversation, not just one channel).\n\nA low health read with no upward signal, especially close to renewal, is a serious flag even when the account looks fine on paper. Accounts that churn from a healthy-looking score are the exact failure the fusion is meant to catch.\n\n## Severity tiers\n\n- Green, informational. Log silently, no post. A single soft signal with no corroboration and no near-term deadline.\n- Yellow, watch. A soft note in the daily roll-up, no @-mention. One medium signal, or a soft signal on an account worth watching.\n- Red, act now. Post immediately with an @-mention. Signals stack across two or more sources, or a hard signal lands inside the renewal window. For high-value accounts, trigger the save motion (a war-room or red-team review) and route to the exec path.\n\n## Worked examples\n\nRenewal risk that should escalate to red:\n- G2: first-time competitor intent, comparison and alternatives pages this week.\n- Gong: sentiment dropped on the last call, a stakeholder said \"reviewing options\" next to a budget review.\n- ZoomInfo: the economic buyer departed last month, successor not yet named.\n- Salesforce: renewal opportunity still early-stage, no mutual close plan.\nFour lenses agree. This is a war-room, not an email.\n\nAny one of those alone is a yellow at most. The escalation comes from the stack.\n\nTop-of-funnel that should post to the pod channel:\n- G2: intent surge on your category, hitting comparison and pricing pages, evaluating a competitor.\n- ZoomInfo: fresh funding, a new budget-owning VP started weeks ago.\n- Sales Navigator: a teammate is first-degree with a decision maker, and contacts already sit in the CRM.\nPost the ranked account with the warm path and the displacement angle, and recommend spinning up the account channel.\n\n## Tuning\n\nIf a channel gets muted, the threshold is too low, so raise it. If real risks are arriving too late, widen the look-ahead window (for renewals, look a quarter ahead rather than trusting stage alone). Review the false-positive and false-negative rate with the account teams and adjust weights, do not leave the thresholds static.\n","url":"https://ai.g2.com/blueprints-api/playbooks/zHpbKR31XKBfLIG/install?revision=1&t=0.V_2lJWVj3VQwj-_3dR9WCSeesZGJ1uLmo0WlozGCOgw&file=references%2Fsignal-fusion.md"},{"name":"references/stage-plays.md","role":"reference","bytes":4047,"sha256":"ff4623719f4c9ade156a4954964fd0b9255935de4d413b82c152d4d72459fc68","encoding":"utf8","content":"# Stage Plays\n\nThe Salesforce stage decides which play is active. Prospecting\nPull: G2 buyer intent on the category and product, and the competitors being compared. ZoomInfo firmographics and recent scoops. Sales Navigator warm paths to the account.\nDo: rank the account by intent depth, attach the warm path, and note the competitor set for a displacement angle. If the account has no Slack channel, post to the pod or new-logo channel and recommend creating the account channel and assigning an owner.\n\n### 2. Qualification\nPull: G2 intent depth (which pages), ZoomInfo buying-committee coverage, Salesforce firmographic fit.\nDo: score timing and fit on intent depth and committee coverage, not firmographics alone. Advance only accounts with real buying motion, and name the gap if coverage is thin.\n\n### 3. Discovery\nPull: G2 category reviews and market-intelligence reviews for the segment, the incumbent's weak spots, and ZoomInfo org context.\nDo: hand the rep the pains buyers actually cite and the incumbent's soft spots, framed as discovery questions the rep can reframe in their own voice.\n\n### 4. Demo and Proposal\nPull: competitor reviews from G2, your Grid position, and any documented differentiation.\nDo: assemble a tailored narrative and proposal that leans on Grid position and real differentiation, and pre-empt the objections buyers raise in that category.\n\n### 5. Negotiation and Close\nPull: G2 reviews and Grid for proof, residual buyer intent for a still-shopping signal, Gong deal risk and competitor mentions on recent calls, Sales Navigator exec path.\nDo: arm the rep with review-based ROI and displacement proof. Flag the rep if the account is still researching alternatives mid-deal, and surface the exec connection for air cover.\n\n## Lifecycle plays\n\n### 6. Onboarding\nPull: early activation signals (first-value milestones, first reviews, first data integration), Salesforce implementation status.\nDo: drive the account to its first real value (the setup moment) and flag stalled setups to the implementation owner before they calcify.\n\n### 7. Adoption\nPull: the health inputs (review recency, buyer-intent signal strength, value-page visits, conversations logged), Gong sentiment trend.\nDo: compute the health read (see `references/signal-fusion.md`) and flag accounts that have not hit their first real value or that are trending down. Recommend the specific play for the weakest input.\n\n### 8. Expansion\nPull: G2 intent on adjacent categories the customer could buy from you, cross-sell whitespace, ZoomInfo growth or reorg scoops, Sales Navigator paths to new buyers.\nDo: hand the account owner a specific expansion or multi-profile play with the signal behind it, before they have to guess where to expand.\n\n### 9. Renewal\nPull: G2 competitive intent (first-time intent on a competitor is the strongest tell), the health inputs, Gong sentiment on the last call and any risk language, ZoomInfo buyer departures, Salesforce renewal date and opportunity state.\nDo: from the renewal window out, watch for a competitor intent spike, a sentiment drop, or a buyer departure.
