ACP

ACP (Agent Communication Protocol) is an open, RESTful protocol designed to enable interoperability between AI agents, applications, and humans across diverse frameworks and infrastructures. Developed under the Linux Foundation, ACP provides a standardized communication method allowing synchronous/asynchronous, streaming, stateful/stateless agent interactions for a wide range of use cases such as multi-agent collaboration, flexible agent swapping, cross-platform integration, and inter-company partnerships. Targeted at developers, AI teams, and organizations building agentic systems, ACP fosters agent collaboration, scalability, and easier integration across technologies.
