About air-Q

air-Q is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server enabling AI assistants (such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible clients) to communicate directly with air-Q air quality sensors on a local network. Through this server, users can query real-time and historical air quality data, retrieve device logs and metadata, visualize and export sensor data (charts, CSV/XLSX), and manage device settings like LED themes, night mode, and network configuration. It offers both read-only and configuration tools, supporting multi-device environments with flexible querying by name, location, or group—ideal for smart home or office air quality monitoring, integration, and automation.
