BAILII UK Case Law

The BAILII UK Case Law MCP server allows users to search UK court judgments from BAILII, retrieve full text, and automatically extract specific sections such as summary, conclusions, discussion, and background. Designed to run locally (to overcome BAILII's cloud IP blocks), it is intended for legal professionals, researchers, and academics who need targeted, efficient access to UK case law. The server provides programmatic tools for searching by court or case, fetching judgments with sectional granularity, and listing available courts. It is compatible with MCP client systems including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code.
