Bbox Mcp Server is an open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed to give AI assistants and agents robust, verifiable geospatial capabilities. It allows AI to perform real spatial data queries — such as POI searches, Overpass queries on OpenStreetMap data, coordinate conversions between 3,900+ projections, H3 hex binning and aggregation, and exporting/verifying results through shareable map links for instant visual verification. Zero configuration is needed and results are based on real data, not hallucinations, making it ideal for any AI needing trustworthy map/geospatial features.
