About Biomcp
BioMCP is a unified biomedical information access tool that provides a single command-line interface and server for searching, analyzing, and integrating data from a wide range of trusted biomedical and genomic databases. It is designed for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare AI agents, simplifying workflows by streamlining access to multiple entities (genes, diseases, trials, drugs, etc.) and datasets (such as cBioPortal) through a consistent command grammar and output format. BioMCP can be installed as a CLI tool or run as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, supporting both local and remote deployments as well as integration into AI/agent environments.
