About Cairn

Cairn is a persistent memory and orchestration server for AI agents and humans, designed to unify memory, work management, and multi-agent collaboration. It provides a persistent, bi-temporal memory layer that stores, searches, and organizes 'memories', beliefs, and work items across projects, sessions, and users. Cairn exposes tools for storing, searching, recalling, and structuring knowledge and work, with advanced support for hierarchical work management, agent orchestration, and knowledge graph extraction (via Neo4j). It integrates with PostgreSQL (with pgvector) and Neo4j for data storage, and is easily connectable to multiple popular AI IDEs and agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Continue, Cline/VSCode), supporting workflows for system engineers, t-shaped professionals, and anyone needing cross-system, cross-agent memory and collaboration.
