PlanetScale CLI

PlanetScale CLI (pscale) is a command-line interface for developers and database administrators to manage PlanetScale databases (MySQL-compatible Vitess and Postgres), automate workflows, and interact programmatically. It allows users to create, manage, and scale databases and branches, run SQL queries, manage access controls, execute backup and restore operations, integrate with CI/CD or AI agents, and automate common database and workflow tasks securely from the terminal.
