Cowork

Claude Cowork is an agentic AI system built by Anthropic that executes multi-step knowledge work on a user's behalf, including research synthesis, document preparation, and file management. Unlike a chat assistant, it runs on the desktop, connects to local files and applications, and completes tasks from start to finish without the user coordinating each step. Designed for non-technical knowledge workers such as researchers, analysts, legal professionals, and finance teams, it takes an outcome as input and figures out how to deliver it. It is available on all paid Claude plans through the Claude desktop app on macOS and Windows.
