Deeprepo

DeepRepo is a pure Python library and MCP server for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) on local codebases. It ingests code repositories to create a semantic knowledge index—combining a code knowledge graph, embeddings, and a hierarchical Markdown wiki—enabling precise AI-driven search, explanations, and contextual queries about code. DeepRepo is CLI-first, supports multiple AI providers (Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, HuggingFace), offers branch isolation for multi-dev workflows, integrates with MCP agent platforms like Cursor and Claude Desktop, and is completely local-first—requiring no external databases or cloud.
