Dev Agents (stylized as /dev/agents, legal entity SDSA) is a stealth-stage startup building a next-generation, cloud-based operating system for AI agents. Founded in 2024 by former Android leaders Hugo Barra, David Singleton, Ficus Kirkpatrick, and Nicholas Jitkoff, the platform provides new UI primitives, a reimagined privacy model, and a developer ecosystem that enables autonomous agents to coordinate work seamlessly across a user's apps and devices. It aims to make agentic applications a robust, trusted part of everyday consumer software—analogous to what Android did for mobile.
