Distill Mcp

Distill Mcp is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects any MCP-compatible client—such as Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf—to document conversion tools that transform local PDFs, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, HTML, audio, and more into token-efficient Markdown. It supports both a lightweight (Python-based) mode for general document types and a full Docker-based mode that adds support for scanned PDF (OCR), audio, and additional file types. All processing is local, ensuring user privacy. It is particularly valuable for anyone needing large document processing and summarization for LLMs, including researchers, knowledge workers, and AI power-users.
