Doctree Mcp

Doctree Mcp is an open-source MCP server that enables AI agents like Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and others to search, browse, and write to markdown-based knowledge bases using fast BM25 keyword search (no embeddings or LLM calls). It exposes structured retrieval and content management tools to AI clients, including catalog browsing, tree navigation, granular section access, duplicate detection, and wiki-like curation. Systems and users who manage technical documentation or knowledge wikis in markdown and wish to empower AI assistants to maintain, structure, and audit that documentation would benefit from this server. It integrates with a variety of popular AI agent clients and supports collaborative doc workflows, including writing, validation, and safety/linting hooks.
