Dynatrace Managed MCP is an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI Assistants (like VSCode, Claude, Copilot, and others) to one or more self-hosted Dynatrace Managed monitoring environments. It lets users query live and historical observability data—including logs, metrics, events, SLOs, problems, and security vulnerabilities—for contextual debugging, incident investigation, and real-time monitoring. It is designed for organizations using Dynatrace Managed as their primary observability solution or retaining historical data after a migration to Dynatrace SaaS.
