About EchoVault Memory

EchoVault Memory is a local-first MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed for coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and OpenCode. It exposes tools for agents to save, retrieve, and search contextual memory about past decisions, bugs, and project context entirely on the user's machine – no cloud or external servers required. Integrations include local FTS5-powered keyword search with optional semantic search via Ollama or OpenAI, secure memory redaction, and compatibility with Obsidian for visual browsing of agent memory. It is ideal for software engineers, teams using AI coding agents, and anyone needing persistent, secure, and searchable memory across multiple coding assistants and sessions.
