About FunseaAI Unity MCP

FunseaAI Unity MCP (also called Funplay MCP for Unity) is an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Unity Editor, enabling code-based and AI agent assistants (like Claude Code, Cursor, LM Studio, Codex, VS Code Copilot, Kimi Code, and others) to directly interact with and automate Unity projects. It allows you to describe game ideas in natural language and have your AI assistant rapidly build full Unity scenes, generate scripts, perform validation, run performance analysis, and automate a variety of editor actions, all from within your running Unity project. The tool is aimed at Unity developers seeking rapid iteration, seamless AI integration, and advanced automation workflows inside Unity.
