GigaChat

GigaChat is a generative multimodal AI assistant developed by Sberbank (Sber), Russia's largest bank, launched in April 2023 as a Russian-language alternative to ChatGPT. It supports natural language conversations, text and code generation, image generation via the Kandinsky model, and long-term memory across sessions. The flagship GigaChat Ultra model features real-time web search, a code interpreter, and doubled response speed, with source weights released as open source. It is optimized for Russian-language tasks and cultural context but also supports English, with availability via web, iOS, Android, Telegram, and VK.
