HelioSPICE

HelioSPICE (xhelio-spice) is a Python library and MCP server that wraps the SpiceyPy library to provide automatic downloading, caching, and loading of SPICE kernels for heliophysics missions. It enables users to seamlessly fetch spacecraft ephemeris (position and trajectory data) as Python dictionaries or pandas DataFrames, supporting missions like Parker Solar Probe, Solar Orbiter, Juno, and others. The tool is aimed at researchers, scientists, and developers in the heliophysics and space science community who need accurate ephemeris data for spacecraft and solar system bodies, with automatic kernel management and coordinate transformation utilities.
