IPFS MCP Server (mcp-ipfs) is a Node.js server implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) designed to wrap the 'w3' CLI for seamless management of storacha.network spaces and data via the `w3` command-line tool from web3.storage. It enables language models and other MCP clients to easily upload, download, and administer IPFS-based storage, manage delegations, spaces, keys, tokens, and more through programmatic or containerized (Docker) deployment. Developers and AI agents can use this to connect storage workflows directly to decentralized Web3/IPFS ecosystems.
