About JAIL Search

JAIL Search is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that enables AI assistants to search and retrieve information from billions of documents across diverse sources, including academic publications, books, Wikipedia, forums, legal cases, news, package registries, economic data, knowledge bases, videos, music, health data, geographic data, tech forums, social platforms, fandom wikis, crypto data, prediction markets, and podcasts. It exposes two main tools: 'search', for querying across these sources with filtering and pagination, and 'detail', for retrieving metadata by document ID. JAIL Search integrates seamlessly with a wide variety of MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and more, making it suitable for developers, researchers, and anyone building LLM-powered research, discovery, or contextual retrieval features.
