Just MCP Server

Just MCP Server is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that allows AI assistants and agent frameworks to discover, introspect, and execute curated Justfile recipes in a safe, deterministic, and abstracted manner. It exposes tools for recipe discovery, execution with parameterization, detailed introspection, and Justfile validation—enabling much safer automation and agent workflows compared to raw shell/bash access. Integrating seamlessly with the Just command runner, it supports a variety of environments via npm, pip, Cargo, Docker, and works out-of-the-box with popular agent platforms like Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible desktops. It's also designed for use with open source/self-hostable models and features comprehensive environment management and transparent logging for safety and auditing.
