LIFE (Living Identity Framework for Emergence) is an open-source persistence architecture designed specifically for AI agents. It provides 16 modular components enabling AI to develop drives, emotional memory, long-term and decaying memory, creative and reflective patterns, journaling, self-discovery, vision (image inputs), and voice interaction. LIFE is for developers and researchers building autonomous AI agents that require persistent identity, memory, and evolving context across sessions, making each 'wake' non-blank and agentically meaningful.
