Mcp Codebase Index is an open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed for AI-assisted software development. It structurally indexes entire codebases, extracting functions, classes, imports, dependency graphs, and cross-file call chains. Featuring 17+ query tools, it allows AI assistants (such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw, and other MCP-compatible clients) to efficiently navigate, search, and analyze codebases without reading full files.
