Mcp Jira Server is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that enables AI assistants—such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and MCP-compatible clients—to securely connect to and interact with self-hosted Jira instances. It exposes a suite of tools for creating, reading, updating, deleting, searching, and managing Jira issues, assignments, comments, projects, and more, using Personal Access Token authentication. This allows users to automate and enhance software project management workflows through conversational or programmatic AI interfaces.
