Mooring

Mooring is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that exposes structured access to both local Git repositories and the GitHub API for AI assistants and MCP-compatible clients. It enables advanced code operations like status, log, diffing, blame, branch management, stash manipulation, and pulls/merges, as well as direct interaction with GitHub features such as issues, pull requests, and Actions. Highly suitable for AI-driven code assistants, devtools, or workflow automation platforms, it focuses on developer productivity and secure, safe interactions with codebases—either on a developer’s machine or on GitHub.
