Nexo

Nexo is an open-source, local MCP server that provides persistent, cognitive memory capabilities to MCP-compatible AI agents, such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex. It implements a cognitive architecture inspired by human memory (e.g., Atkinson-Shiffrin model) and supports features like semantic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, natural forgetting, metacognitive guard rails, and trust scoring.
