Nr Mcp

Nr Mcp is an open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that enables AI assistants (like Claude, Cursor, and others) to deeply interact with Node-RED, a popular low-code platform for automation and IoT. Nr Mcp exposes 13 Node-RED-focused tools through MCP endpoints, allowing AI clients to read, search, modify, and safely deploy Node-RED flows, search nodes by name/type/code, automate node creation/deletion, manage installed modules, test flows by triggering inject nodes, and read flow/debug context. Smart search, optimistic locking for safe deployments, and batch operations target real-world needs for Node-RED administrators and advanced users. It integrates with Node-RED via its Admin API and is meant for users managing home automation, IoT, or other workflow automation via Node-RED and AI assistants.
