Octofs

Octofs is an open-source, standalone Rust binary that extends the capabilities of AI coding assistants by exposing advanced filesystem tools over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows AI models to interact with local and remote filesystems: reading, editing, searching, and executing batch atomic edits with safety features like gitignore-awareness and stale-write protection.
