Openfec MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server integration that exposes the Federal Election Commission's (FEC) campaign finance data through a standardized set of structured query tools. Designed for developers, researchers, journalists, and data scientists, it enables advanced querying and analysis of US federal election data including candidates, committees, contributions, disbursements, expenditures, filings, legal documents, and election events. The integration is pluggable, features type-safe access to OpenFEC's API, offers structured logging, error handling, and is deployable via stdio, HTTP, or Docker.
