Opengenes

Opengenes is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed to provide AI assistants and agents with real-time, structured access to a specialized database focused on aging and longevity genetics. It allows users—especially biomedical researchers and developers—to query experimental data on gene interventions, aging-related gene classifications, hallmarks of aging, and genetic longevity associations through structured and natural language interfaces. The server automatically keeps data up to date from the Hugging Face Hub and is part of the Holy Bio MCP framework, supporting advanced, AI-driven bioinformatics research workflows and integration with popular AI coding/development environments.
