PixelLab

PixelLab is a cloud-based tool designed for indie game developers to create unique and consistent pixel art assets with the help of AI. It enables rapid generation and editing of pixel art, including character animation (with skeleton-based controls or text prompts), 4 & 8-directional sprite rotations, scene and environment creation, map and tileset design, and pixel art UI element creation. The software supports true inpainting for seamless asset editing and maintains visual consistency across all assets by referencing uploaded images or sprites, and is accessible on Windows, Mac, and Linux without high-end hardware requirements.
