Proxy Doctor

Proxy Doctor is a diagnostic and troubleshooting tool designed to solve proxy misconfiguration issues specifically affecting AI coding tools such as Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf on macOS. It analyzes proxy-related settings across five layers—including system proxies, editor configs, and environment variables—and identifies the root cause when browsers work but AI code editing features break. Proxy Doctor offers clear recommendations and, optionally, applies fixes. It can be used as a CLI tool or integrated as an MCP server for direct use by AI agents and developers.
