Recite MCP

Recite MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that exposes a wide set of receipt processing and bookkeeping tools to compatible AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf. The server supports receipt scanning, transaction import/export, batch processing, ledger bookkeeping, rule-based categorization, webhooks, summaries, vendor and category management, and persistent memory/instruction storage for agents. It is designed for local-first workflows, allowing end users—particularly those interested in financial record-keeping, expense management, and automated accounting—to integrate advanced document processing and ledger management into their own agentic AI or automation systems. Recite MCP integrates directly with the Recite API, supports webhooks and local agent memory, and provides both local ledger and cloud-backed workflows.
