Relay

Relay is an open-source message bus designed for users of Claude Desktop and Claude Code who want to fluidly exchange files, code, data, and conversational context between these two instances without copy-pasting or losing context. It acts as a user-controlled, explicitly synchronized message relay: messages can be sent or fetched by explicit command or autonomously by either Claude when they require context or action from the other. This tool maintains a clean separation between the context windows of each Claude, avoids background sync or runaway conversations, and is extensible for more advanced multi-agent or project-based workflows. Relay is ideal for technical users, developers, and power-users who regularly switch between conversational planning (Desktop) and code execution (Code).
