Session Forge

Session Forge is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that extends AI coding assistants with persistent memory and session intelligence. It provides tools for user profile management, decision and dead end logging, session checkpointing, crash recovery, session journaling, and local data management—allowing AI assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) to 'remember' user preferences and project history across sessions. These features are especially beneficial to developers, technical teams, and power users who want their AI tools to build context and avoid repeated mistakes. Data is stored locally as JSON, with zero setup required.
