Tool Filter MCP

Tool Filter MCP is a proxy MCP server designed for AI assistants and agents using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows organizations and developers to filter and control which tools from upstream MCP servers are exposed to an AI agent by defining regex-based deny lists. This effectively reduces token clutter, prevents accidental invocation of unwanted tools, and keeps AI model context lean, which is important for both efficiency and accuracy in large-scale AI deployments.
