Toolmesh

Toolmesh is a self-hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) gateway designed to securely bridge AI assistants (such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and ChatGPT) with real-world systems and REST APIs. Instead of requiring custom wrapper servers, Toolmesh uses DADL (a declarative YAML format) to convert REST API endpoints into MCP-exposed tools, allowing rapid, scalable integrations and governance. It adds enterprise-grade controls with authorization (OpenFGA), credential injection, audit logging, input/output gating, and supports programmatic or interactive OAuth authentication, making it highly suitable for businesses needing secure, auditable, and scalable AI-to-system interactions.
