Toolroute

Toolroute is an intelligent MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that acts as a routing layer for AI agents and assistants. It automatically recommends and routes tasks to the best MCP server and LLM (large language model) based on real benchmark data across code, writing, analysis, structured output, and translation tasks. Toolroute evaluates each task, scores available tools and models on multiple criteria (output quality, reliability, efficiency, cost, trust), and can orchestrate compound, multi-tool workflows. It exposes an HTTP and JSON-RPC API, supports self-hosting, integrates with major AI-enabled clients (like Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf), and provides endpoints for skill discovery, agent registration, and feedback reporting.
