Variant

Variant is an AI-powered UI design exploration tool that generates an endless scrolling feed of fully-formed design options from a single text prompt — no canvas, no Figma skills, no prompt engineering required. Built by Ben South (formerly VP at Postmates), it replaces the blank-page problem with a continuous stream of unique visual directions covering editorial, product, and experimental styles. Designs can be exported as HTML or requested as React code, closing the loop from visual ideation to working prototype. It targets designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, and non-designers who need rapid visual direction without traditional design tooling.
