VMware Monitor

VMware Monitor is a read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for monitoring VMware vCenter and ESXi environments through AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and Gemini. It provides 8 safety-enforced, non-destructive monitoring tools that expose inventory, health, alarms, hardware sensors, and event data, with support for scheduled scans and webhook-based notifications (Slack, Discord, custom HTTP). The server integrates directly with VMware vCenter and ESXi systems using the vSphere SOAP API, making it ideal for SREs, DevOps, AIOps teams, and IT administrators who need real-time, AI-assisted infrastructure monitoring without risk to production environments.
