Websharp

Websharp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to augment LLMs with real-time web search and article extraction capabilities. By integrating with a SearXNG privacy-focused metasearch backend and SmartReader content extraction, it provides tools for searching the web, extracting structured summaries and metadata, and batch reading of web page content. Websharp is aimed at developers, researchers, and organizations looking to ground LLM output, perform fact checking, or build AI assistants that can interactively access current web content. It supports containerized/local deployment with Docker and has configuration options for custom SearXNG endpoints.
