Zed

Zed is a minimal, high-performance code editor designed for developers who value speed, collaboration, and modern tooling. Written from scratch in Rust, Zed efficiently utilizes multi-core CPUs and GPUs to deliver low-latency editing, rapid navigation, and real-time collaboration features including chat, shared editing, and screen sharing. It is agentic, meaning users can run AI and automation agents in parallel to help write, edit, and analyze code at native speeds. Zed's platform is available for macOS, Linux, and Windows.
