Install Command

Run this command to deploy the blueprint to your environment.

What problem does this solve?

Runs your complete brand development as one connected workflow instead of isolated fill-in-the-blank exercises. It composes proven expert frameworks (Dunford, Miller, Nielsen Norman, Aaker, Do) into skills that share state through a smart manifest, adapt to your knowledge level, and surface generic output so you can fix it before it ships.

How does it work?

  1. Run start to detect where you are and route to the right skill. 2. Work through positioning (Dunford 5-component framework), messaging (StoryBrand), voice (NN/g dimensions + Aaker personality), and visual identity (Stylescapes) in sequence, building on each previous output. 3. Run audit to inventory existing assets, or use landing-page and ad-copy for deployment. 4. Track competitive landscape with competitor-scan and radar. Output: a brand-brief.md file that holds all your decisions, confidence levels, and outputs, shared across all skills.

Included Skill Groups

What's the biggest win?

Every piece of brand work builds on the last, confidence levels stay visible so you know what's validated vs assumed, and generic output gets caught by anti-slop checks before you use it.

What should I know technically?

Installs as a Claude Code plugin to ~/.claude/plugins/brand-toolkit. Works on Mac, Linux, and Windows (Git Bash/WSL/PowerShell). Requires git to clone. The toolkit uses a smart manifest pattern: all skills read from and write to a single brand-brief.md file, which enables context-sharing between skills and allows you to work across different project directories with brand-sync.

What should I watch out for?

Requires Claude Code (native to Claude.com or Claude desktop client). Brand positioning is strongest when built on real customer or market knowledge; seed-stage ideas benefit from validation first. Some skills work best in sequence (positioning before messaging) but won't block out-of-order usage.

Key Features

Shared Smart Manifest

All skills read from and write to brand-brief.md, a single YAML file that tracks your positioning, messaging, voice, and visual identity across all stages.

Framework-Driven, Not Fill-in-Blank

Positions with Dunford's 5-component framework, messages with StoryBrand BrandScript, voices with NN/g dimensions and Aaker personality, visualizes with Chris Do Stylescapes.

Adaptive Interactivity

Skills detect how much you know and switch between research-assisted (guided), some-knowledge (validated), and rich-knowledge (fast) modes automatically.

Confidence Tracking

Each positioning component is scored as validated (customer data), researched (desk research), or assumed (hypothesis). Downstream skills flag when working from weak foundations.

Anti-Slop by Design

Every output passes swap test (could a competitor claim this?), specificity test (banned generic words?), differentiation test, and business-type test before you see it.
