Career Blueprint
Safety checkedA Claude Code skill that researches roles, surfaces undocumented experiences, and creates optimized resumes from your existing resume library.
Run this command to deploy the blueprint to your environment.
Generates high-quality resumes tailored to specific job descriptions while maintaining factual integrity, going beyond keyword matching by researching company culture, uncovering undocumented experiences, and intelligently reframing your background. This removes the burden of resume writing skills from your job search, letting you compete on capabilities instead.
Once installed, you provide a job description and the skill runs five phases: 1. Build a library from your existing resumes in markdown. 2. Research the company, role requirements, and success profiles. 3. Generate an optimized template with role consolidation and title reframing options. 4. Conduct optional branching interviews to surface undocumented experiences and fill gaps. 5. Match library content to the template with confidence scores, generate professional markdown/DOCX/PDF outputs, and optionally add the result to your library. For multiple jobs, the skill detects batch mode and conducts one shared discovery session across all jobs, then processes each individually, saving 11-27% time. Output: tailored resume, DOCX, PDF, and interview prep report.
A Claude Code skill that researches roles, surfaces undocumented experiences, and creates optimized resumes from your existing resume library.
Every resume stays grounded in your actual experiences while emphasizing the aspects that matter most to that specific role, because research and discovery feed directly into reframing.
Requires Claude Code with skills enabled because the skill needs access to your local resume filesystem and file writing capabilities. Markdown resume library stored in resumes/ directory (configurable). Optional WebSearch for company/role research; skill gracefully degrades to JD-only analysis if unavailable. Optional document-skills:docx plugin for DOCX/PDF generation; falls back to markdown-only output without it. All processing happens locally on your machine; no external API calls except optional WebSearch queries.
Requires at least one existing resume in markdown format (skill builds from your library, does not write from scratch). Small libraries (1-2 resumes) will have fewer matching options and more gaps; experience discovery becomes especially valuable in those cases. WebSearch capability is optional but improves research phase quality; skill falls back to job-description-only analysis if unavailable. DOCX/PDF generation requires the optional document-skills plugin; without it, skill outputs markdown only.
Deep Role Research
Analyzes company culture, role requirements, and success profiles via WebSearch and LinkedIn benchmarking to build a comprehensive success profile beyond the job description.
Experience Discovery
Surfaces undocumented work through conversational branching interviews that dynamically follow up based on answers, uncovering side projects, volunteer work, and relevant adjacent experience.
Smart Content Matching
Scores each candidate bullet from your library against template slots using confidence bands (direct, transferable, adjacent, weak) and shows you the reasoning, enabling transparent gap identification.
Multi-Format Output
Generates professional markdown, ATS-friendly DOCX, print-ready PDF, and an interview prep report with reframing notes and gap recommendations.
Multi-Job Batch Processing
Processes 3-5 similar jobs efficiently with one shared discovery session that addresses all gaps, then tailors each resume individually, saving 11-27% time compared to sequential processing.
