What does this do
Speed to production and efficiency were critical—but the real bottleneck was friction in the product development process. A lot of time gets lost in back-and-forth communication within the product team. By leveraging AI, the goal was to give more autonomy to individual contributors, reducing handoffs and enabling one person to move further down the pipeline independently.
How It Works
A designer or product team member starts with a problem space and creates an initial design vision in Figma. Once the direction is locked, they connect Claude Code to the Figma file via URL, leveraging Figma's MCP server to give Claude full access to design details and specifications. Claude Code then iterates with the designer through multiple rounds to refine the solution. Once approved, Claude publishes the changes directly to Git—either to a dedicated test repository or straight into an existing project repository, eliminating manual handoffs.
