Brushfire

Brushfire is an open-source Scala framework for distributed supervised learning of decision tree ensemble models, such as random forests. It enables scalable training and evaluation of binary and multi-class classifiers over large datasets using platforms like Scalding/Hadoop. Designed for advanced users, Brushfire supports pluggable strategies for feature types, sampling, and evaluation, and is aimed at data scientists and engineers building custom machine learning pipelines on distributed data.
