Filesift

FileSift is a local, open-source utility designed to help AI coding agents (and developers) search, index, and understand large codebases more intelligently. It enables hybrid keyword and semantic search, allowing users or agents to query codebases by intent or functionality via natural language, and integrates with popular coding agents or can be used standalone via a CLI. All operations run entirely on the user's machine for privacy and security.
