Junos MCP

Junos MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to securely and programmatically interact with Juniper Networks devices through the junos-ops engine. It exposes a suite of operational and diagnostic tools, including device info retrieval, CLI show command execution (single, multiple, and on batches of devices), configuration management with safe rollback features, upgrade planning and execution, batch diagnostics (RSI/SCF collection), and support for remote OAuth-secured access. Junos MCP is designed for network engineers, AI integrators, and IT automation teams seeking to automate or orchestrate network operations safely, integrating with Junos devices via Python and netconf, and supporting batch actions with robust tagging and filtering. Safety features (e.g., dry-run defaults, commit confirmation with health checks and auto-rollback) are prioritized.
