Statistics Canada MCP Server

The Statistics Canada MCP Server provides programmatic, structured access to over 7,000 Canadian statistical tables from Statistics Canada through MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, Cursor, and Gemini. It exposes tools for querying, searching, downloading, and analyzing Canadian data using both the Web Data Service (WDS) and SDMX REST APIs. A standalone CLI allows direct access without an LLM. This server is valuable for AI assistants, developers, data scientists, researchers, and anyone integrating real Canadian open data into applications, dashboards, or workflows.
