What problem does this solve?
Automates the product workflow pipeline from research through release notes and knowledge base updates. Rather than starting each artifact from scratch, COG remembers prior research, generates PRDs with approval gates, creates user stories with duplicate checking, and maintains a knowledge base that stays current with releases. This prevents duplicate stories, lost research context, and stale documentation.
How does it work?
- Use auto-research for deep strategic investigation with parallel research agents and cited sources. 2. Use generate-prd to draft PRDs that pull in prior research and get approval before publishing to Confluence. 3. Use create-user-story to create stories with duplicate checking across Linear, GitHub, and Jira. 4. Use export-open-issues to audit and export issues. 5. Use generate-release-notes from GitHub milestones or Linear cycles. 6. Use update-knowledge-base to keep documentation current with releases. 7. Optionally publish directly to Confluence with publish-to-confluence. Output: linked PRDs, user stories, release notes, and knowledge base. All interconnected and audit-friendly.

What's required to run this?
Create-user-story and export-open-issues require GitHub CLI or Linear API (or both for deduplication across systems). Generate-prd and publish-to-confluence need Confluence API. Auto-research uses web search and parallel worker agents. All skills support markdown-to-external-tool publishing without round-trips. Approval gates are human-in-the-loop (user approves before publish).
